I was the first hire with a brand-related role at Equal Time, and our goal was to not only develop a library of cohesive visual assets, guidelines, messaging, and typography, but also position the company and product as a strong competitor in the social impact B2B space.

The preliminary stages involved plenty of research. We assessed feedback from customers, looked at how our users prefer to use the product, ran a competitive analysis, and collaborated on what the founding team's vision for Equal Time looked like.

As a result, a comprehensive brand guide that included:

  • Brand messaging guide

  • Brand values and principles

  • Typography system

  • Illustration library

  • Refined core colour palette

  • Social templates

  • Content pillars

  • Growth strategy

  • Integrated marketing and product cohesion

This work also supported the creation of:

lead conversion pages, executive decks, stakeholder newsletters, online and offline demos, display ad design, educational videos, and designing the product interface.

The brand and product scaled on all sides:

📈 Increased social following by 21%

📈 Increased unique site visits by 31%
